I had a bit of a scare with WAFFathon.  While I had thought that I was going to be finished by last weekend, things only got wrapped up around 6 yesterday, 6 hours before it was due.  My head hurt after writing 8 hours, which means it may not be at the highest of my own standards...but I don't think it was TOO bad either.

There were a few things I'd like to change or add in now that I have time.  Once the contest is over with, I'll do some more work on it before submitting it to EFO.  Grammar, spelling and such turned out pretty well, but an extra scene or two would've helped the pacing feelings some more...maybe.  I left an email address, in case anyone cares to comment, and depending on what I hear I may or may not change things...

Basically I need to get away from it for a while. End/Middle of December I should be able to think about that thing again.

Anyway, WAFFathon fics are supposed to be up in a day or two.  If anyone thinks they know mine, let me know.  I'd like to see if my "style" is distinct at all.  Just don't tell Dartz, Eric Blair, or Fresh C.  We're having some sort of contest based on figuring out each others...though I've already seen Eric's and Dartz'.  All that's left to figure out is C's, and that shouldn't be too hard...

Writing wise, I'll be back to work on Dissection in the next few days.  All I have to do is finally comment on some things for EFO, review a fic or two, read some things and keep on top of my homework.  Oh, and finals are coming.  Plus read and vote for WAFFathon fics.  And it's only been... September, October, November, and now part of December since an update.  Before Christmas.  Hm...a birthday update would be cool.

Downloaded the new Atreyu stuff finally, some Final Fantasy themes and some Coheed and Cambria that Syo recommended to me.  Sounds pretty good, especially the Atreyu stuff.  When Two are One especially played a role in my WAFFathon fic, thought Bloodsimple's Truth (Thicker Than Water) was the initial inspiration (sort of).  Also enjoying Aerith's Theme, Sephiroth's Theme, Genova, Atreyu's Doomsday, Becoming the Bull, Slow Burn and Can't Happen Here, as well as The Suffering by Coheed and Cambria.
