Got a long weeked...

Rebuild your desktop system from scratch. That's what a geek like me will do if he has the time and the discs to do it. Now also remember I run a source based linux distro and you can see how this is a long drawn out operation. I need to set up everything and recompile it twice in order to be completely happy with it.

Hopefully this will improve stability on Balthazar enough to where I can decide to do the same with Melchior.

Yes, I named my computers after the MAGI... Bite me.

The best part of doing this SSH is that I can read and write on the laptop and still be able to watch TV off of Caspar and keep track of the install on Balthazar. IT's one of those things linux does easily but is nearly imposssble on windows.
