You're describing not just the EFO QC, but all faceless bureaucracy's the world over. I still have no idea why I agreed to join...
I mean, to me, their comments always came across as being from some high horse. Like, we know better than you, your fic is shit unless you follow our way.
But, like they say. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
