Wow things are getting intense. I felt myself tearing up a little during the Shinji/Rei and Hikari/Asuka discussion scenes. I can't wait for the next chapter and here's hoping things work out for the characters.

Wow. WOW. One year was well worth the wait. The amount of depth you've given to the three pilots...it's been a while since I've read a story that's gripped me so much. Evangelion fanfiction is not dead after all.
The only issues I have is probably some of the spelling mistakes, which are noticeable on the fist read through, and maybe a couple of grammar/sentence issues I had to double-track on. They storyline is progressing at a very nice pace, enough 'hidden agenda' with the MOI agent to keep things going, along with the character developments.
I would really, really like to see how the Shinji-Asuka relationship continues from here on out; seeing how fractured it is, it would be interesting to see how things will go. I hope you carry on with this!

Wow, Shinji really messed up there. He's being nicer to Rei, and she seems to be more aware of her ability to feel as a result, but he's make things worst with Asuka. He got up the courage to slap her; hopefully he can muster up that courage once again to apologize. As for Ritsuko, she's a complete bitch who's letting her feelings for Ikari cloud her judgement, ironically just like her mother. I'll be looking forward to the next chapter and hoping that, eventually, the three children will end up better off than they are now.

There were a few typos, but overall, excellent job.
The ending of this chapter had me tearing up. I can't wait to see more. I have a bad feeling that something's going to happen to Maya (I blame Tenant of Room 404 from Evageeks for making me think that) but I guess you'll address this in the next chapter.

Excellent job yet again! The characterization is wonderful! I love how your portraying Shinji and Asuka's complicated love-hate relationship as well as the brother/sister relationship between Shinji and Rei.

I hope that things will end up happily for Shinji & Asuka, and that if Third Impact does occur in this (which I assume it would) that there will still be some form of hope at the end. ^_^

And Rei 2 had painkillers, eh? Always wondered what that medication was for.
